I'm 13 and I'm planning on trying to prove them I can live without my Parents. I'm going to start sleeping outside on the grass (litterally, no Matresses or anything cept clothes and shoes), Stop eating and drinking (This means nothing. No Food no Water, I don't give a shit if I die), Start focusing in class, spend all their money they give me on bus money so I can't buy lollies, not going to the toliet, stop talking to people. It's hard to describe but every morning for I'd say the past 3-4 months, I am woken up earlier than usual because of this uncomfortable pain radiating from my back to it seems my sternum or just below it. It's hard to pinpoint the pain because it feels like it's just in the middle of me if you know what I mean. But it's from my back radiating all the way to the front. The pain is worse when I inhale. I have tried switching positions as I sleep, radiating my head on pillows when I sleep, I've even tried different matresses and slept on the floor. I feel as if this problem is not related to where I'm sleeping. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this?When I said radiating my head on a pillow I meant elevating! Now long story short my significant other is living with me and my mother and since our house isn't quite huge i made him a room next to mine in the basement and it doesn't have walls, just sheets attached to hangers that are hung on the piping on the ceilling. Recently, he's been getting bites on his legs. They range from small to medium size(as far as bug bites go) depending on how much he scratched them and they also look a little swollen. He works a job where he has to cut grass all the time so he originally thought they were "chiggers" but he realized that new ones would appear during the night while he was sleeping. He then went to his other job that he works with his half brother who said he had the same thing all the time and that they're "bed spiders"? that they "live under someones bed and come out at night to burrow into your skin for warmth while you sleep" I didn't really believe this so I decided to do some more research and everything I've found says spiders don't behave this way especially not in my area (midwest). I then washed his sheets tosee if this fixed the problem and he still had new bites the next morning I tried to research bed bugs and those aren't likely because they're visible to the naked eye, and while I was changing his sheets i found no such bugs. Does anyone know what this is? Is it possibly not even a pest at all? Genetic? or does he need a new bed? He and his brother have the same beds they did when they lived together at their moms house, could old matresses be the culprit? My extended family goes to lake Powell every year in the summer in our houseboat for about a week. My cousin Destiny and I are usually bored out of our minds for about 3 hours -every day. That time is the unofficial nap time for everyone else on the boat other than us (we are both 12 year old girls) Andes aren't allowed to swim unless an adult is present. We also need to tell someone if we go on a hike, and even then, we can't leave thier sight. But everyones asleep. So we usually hang out in one of the two "bedrooms". I'm moving LITERALLY 2 miles, and have very little furniture to move. I have 2 dressers, a coffee table, a chair, 2 matresses, and a small T.V. and computer. Possibly a small cabinet. I can handle putting a few of those things in my car but the dressers are heavy and my car is small. I don't really know anyone that is young enough to move furniture to borrow a truck and I can't push those up 3 flights to my apartment by myself. I was hoping my rate would be really low because I am moving so little such a short distance. Any ideas? I did a little reasearch but I don't even know where to start and I have enough other things to deal with so if anyone has used a comany similar to what I'm asking let me know!!! Thanks. P.S. Alright my 3 friends and I are 17 and we just finished our junior year in high school. There is this somewhat large forest like a half mile from our houses (we all live in the same neighborhood and have been friends since kindergarten). There is this valley inside the forest a bit and we're going to build a kind of camp site area with a little fort thing covered on 3 sides where we can sit in. Eventually we are going to put in a couple matresses and old blankets so we dont have to sit on dirt. We already have made a little bathroom area a little ways away. We are planning to dig into the side of the valley building a tunnel to an underground room where we could chill in during the day to keep cool. If it doesn't take too long or is easier than expected, we will probably build a cavern-like system with rooms and small tunnels leading between them; kind of like the Viet Cong in a way...We already have 2 trees next to each other where we plan on building a tree house with a bridge connecting them as well. I like building things and being out in nature, but does this seem a bit childish in a way? My friends and I used to do things like this a lot when we were younger (not too much lately), and never wondered if we were too old to do it...What do you all think? I saw a few bed bugs months ago, around january... I washed all my sheets, took everything out of my room and steamed my matress/box spring/ and every inch of my carpet. put my room back together, eveything is cool for a while and i notice a few more a few weeks later.I figure it has to be my furninture. I had a sleepover with 6 girls at my house yesterday and my best friend slept in my bed. I was the only one who knew about her bedwetting problem, and I kept it quiet. She wore a nappy/diaper (she is a heavy wetter apparently, so she said normal "pjama pants" like drynites don't keep her dry) and I let her sleep in my bed. None of the others knew about it but as we had a lot to drink, she really wet herself a lot. The nappy couldn't hold all the pee so the bed got soaked. She is a heavy sleeper and she didn't wake up, but another friend said she woke up and saw the covers getting wet. She woke me up and she was laughing at her. The others woke up and were staring. She peeled back the covers and saw the nappy and then my friend woke up and saw it all and burst into tears. The others were teasing her and stuff so she is really upset. So 2 problems: 1. How do I console my friend as she is so distresed, especialy since they told other kids about the incident? 2. Is there a way to get wee stains out of matresses? Thanks! I wanted (and can fund) new stuff for our baby - my husband, however, decided that second hand will be good enough. We looked at prams a few weeks ago, the sales assistant tried to dissuade us from looking at the one I had my heart set on, and tried to sell us another one. I still wanted to look around & wasn't happy to settle on just looking at two. However my husband bought the same one the sales assistant tried to sell us, from Ebay. Now I admit it's nice & it cost less than £60, but it comes with a carrycot and stand so baby can sleep in it. The matress included is a specially ventilated one to keep baby safe. I've found out it is hard to buy new matresses for it & am not prepared to put a matress in that doesn't fit exactly. So I've decided to buy a moses basket and stand. My husband is upest with me. He has told me he is going to sell the pram as I "obviously don't like it". This is not the case; however the pram does have a bit of mildew on it, so needs to be thoroughly cleaned & I don't feel comfortable letting a newborn sleep in something that had mould on (fabric is difficult to clean) and with a second hand matress. My husband doesn't think twice about buying games consoles, Ipods etc; so I don;t see what is wrong with me spending my money on our baby (who is far more precious than electronics). I am 13 weeks and 3 days with baby number 2 so that puts my due date at Oct.3rd. I am going to be pregnant all summer and I live in Ontario Canada so my skin has not seem the sunlight since last August. As you can imagine I am whiter than a ghost. Actually I am naturally very pale skinned. I can see all of my blue veins through my skin right now. I am wondering if you can use self tanner while pregnant? I have some of the Jergen's moisturizer that is also a slow self tanner and gives you a nice glow that doesn't make you look orange! I use it every spring to get some colour before summer, but I am not sure if I can use it now? For my second question, when did you start feeling the baby move in your second pregnancy? I swear felt it the other night laying 100% still in bed and concentrating hard on it. I started feeling my son move around 18 weeks. And last, do I need to buy a new crib matress? It was only used for our son for about 15 months. It is still in great condition. I read something the other day that said you shouldn't buy used crib matresses. So, that's why I am wondering.My fiance's parents bought the crib matress off of another couple who's daughter only used it for 4 months, great condition, it is one of those posutre pedic ones or whatever. My son only used it from about 4 months old to 18 months old. The other night I went to sleep over at my friend 'Alison's' house. Her dad is kinda cute and he is only 18 yrs older that us coz he and her mum had her when they were 18.
